Remember Me?

Habakkuk 3:17-19

King James Version (KJV)
17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Dear Lord, I am sad and angry and happy to hear the news of people being arrested for the horrible crime of killing a 14 year old girl. Adults gave the other student the gun. The fight started with social media postings over a boy. Yet now we have a murder, lives are messed up. Bails are of course set astronomical for the families, which it doesn't deter the crime from happening again. They are just upset because they got caught. Lord I pray for mercy on our land and our people. We make so many mistakes. We are not innocent of these crimes. Immediate intervention and long term intervention. I know you are so close to these incidents that it hurts your heart every time you hear about things like this. We just keep hearing about them. This is April and we have May, June, July, August to get through. It's like we are just dreading the warm weather. It brings death to our youth. How do they feel about the whole thing? We need to think about that. Dear Lord, help me change today. Today I need a change. Be blessed today. I love you.
