Do Not Worry

²² Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. ²³ For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. ²⁴ Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! ²⁵ Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life^[a]? ²⁶ Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?



Good Morning Lord. Thank You for waking me up today. I put my trust in you. I refuse to worry about anything. If I can trust you and believe that you are strengthening me for what is  to come then I am prepared. Whatever the day brings, I am prepared. I wait for you. I trust in you. I believe in your ability to guide me. I trust in you. I will not worry. I will trust you. I love you.

Thinking of You

Just because I haven't posted lately it doesn't mean I am not thinking of you. I love you. 

I am an Eagle

Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (NIV)


Thank You Lord for today. What a blessing. I just love it when you bless us with your eagle analogies. Eagles mate for life. Eagles are higher than the other birds, yet never lonely. They are not alone even though they are few and far apart. I loved it when I first heard you preach about eagle mentality during a bible study long ago. You brought out your slide projector and you were so sincere/ I love it when I can feel your heart reaching out to me. I just love you so much. I pray that we survive this process. God I want to be the one for him. I love him. Please help me. We need each other. We are mated for life. We are eagles. I am committed. I trust that you are too. Maybe we are freefalling and will stop, just before we reach the bottom. We have to stay locked together, in a perfect glide. We can do all thing through Christ. Be blessed and be a blessing to someone. You know we are going to make it together. We have to.

The Cost of Discipleship

Luke 14:12-14
¹² Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. ¹³ But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, ¹⁴ and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”


Good Morning Lord. Thank You for today. I am blessed to be here again. I look forward to whatever is in store for me today. I walk into today knowing that you have designed this for me. While the world changes around me, you never change. You are my rock. Today I get to go to my new school. I was part of the process of picking the new principal last night. Lord out of the three candidates there was one who stood out. We would be blessed to have her though I can see she is a very assertive person, but that is what is needed to be a principal. We have to be in full combat mode. What do we need to do to be successful? Get the best and be the best. Help those who need our help. Be humble, show humility. Sometimes the cost is too high, but it must be paid. Thank God for showing us the way. Be blessed today and be a blessing to someone. I love you. I'm off to work. Yea.

New Life

Colossians 3:12-17
¹² Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. ¹³ Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. ¹⁴ And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
¹⁵ Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. Thank You Lord for today. I am so blessed to be here. You woke me up another day. Glory to you. Help me to forgive. Help me to put on the calm wisdom to enjoy life. Remind me Lord that  peace, the peace of Christ should be in my heart. I am called to peace. I will not keep a frown on my face. My forehead will not stay wrinkled. I will have peace. God will guide me and walk with me. I will trust the Lord to be with me. I love you and pray for you today.

Thank You Lord. I have sat down many times to write a note. I have prayed over every step of this week. What to do Lord, what to do. God do I bring him home and take on that responsibility?  Its like I have answered the question as I write it. Of course you bring him home. Thank You Lord for the job. I prayed that I could have a match. Something that was compatible with me, my temperament and my nerdiness. Science teacher at a magnet school seems like a good fit for me. I am so blessed to be able to have a good school. Location wise it is pretty much a straight shot for me. I am really happy about this position. God you have been awesome to me so I will trust in your decision. I have prayed and prayed on all of this. My tears are my own. I miss you so much. I love you and pray that you are thinking of me too. You are a big flirt, but you already know that. I missed you so much. How can I really say I missed you when we are so far apart, yet somehow so close together? So I look over my notes from bible studies and steady myself for the future. Birth the twins of faith and patience. Look to people who have lived the journey I am living now. Choose carefully who I imitate. Choose those who are reflecting God. God answers the promises on his terms and his times. God doesn't do it on our terms. God will fulfill his promises and make good on his promises on his time. Not a word of God has failed.

5 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have^[a] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, ² through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

 

 

 

Good Morning Lord. Thank you for today. I am grateful for another chance to get it right for you. Trusting you is so much better than thriving for a deeper understanding. Understanding is so overrated. Lord when we seek our understanding we are not at Peace with you. Humans are always trying to figure things out so we can master a situation in our lives. But we are presented with problems daily. There is not a day that goes by where we are not confronted with a new challenge. Soon as we have a handle on that, something new happens to challenge our short-lived relief. We spend our days searching for understanding. Let's spend our days seeking out our Lord. The more we know, the more we want to know. We have a voracious appetite for knowledge but our searching does not bring peace, only more questions. Seek God's Peace. Deep calls unto Deep. Seek the Lord first. So Lord, today I will seek your peace. I will go to this interview trusting in you. I will pray for both interviews to be successful and fruitful so that I can choose. Your guidance is what I seek. Today, and Monday. I want the one on Monday but I am not going to disregard the one today. Let's help me to trust in your understanding. Your ways are not my ways. I pray for the one best suited for me. Loving you and not knowing what the future will bring is interesting. Believing in the present, different. Believing in Love, not too difficult. Whatever happens, I believe in love. I love you and have a blessed and peaceful day.

Wonderful Day

Thank You Lord for today. I cherish the moment. Today was the "impacted teacher" fair. We are impacted but we continue on. I refuse to dwell on the negative of this situation. God has a plan for me. God has the ideal situation for me. I am working towards a wonderful situation that is perfect for me. God knows what I need and I pray for the right situation. I will leave that in God's hands. I have turned it over to the Lord. Thank you Lord for reminding me that it is in your hands. I have three good possibilities. I am encouraged. If not this then something else. I will make a difference where ever I am. I have to challenge myself and keep my focus. Keep Jesus the focus in my life. Thank You Lord for this day. We are in wedding mode and each and every day is a day for blessings. Everything is going to be alright.

³¹ And forces^[a] shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. ³² Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. ³³ And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering. ³⁴ Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many shall join with them by intrigue. ³⁵ And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.


Good Morning Lord. Thank you for today. I am here one more time to get it right. I am humbled to be here. I have been blessed with another day to please you. Lord you have forgiven me and allowed me to move forward. My past is just that, the past. I walk into my future. Boldly and with confidence.

 Lord I will make my mind like a still small pond in the middle of the forest, ready for you to drop your thoughts into it. I want my mind to be filled with your thoughts. Your thoughts are not my thoughts, your ways are not my ways but if I can focus on you and not worry, then we can come together as one.

 Don't worry about the future. I cannot influence one thing to be different from your will, Oh Lord. I will listen for your influence. I will pray for your guidance. I will remain faithful to you. For all my wanderings, I am faithful.

 Lord, I did like the sunrise services, its just that last year the parking was an issue and I didn't bring money for the meter so I didn't want to get a ticket. That's why I left early. I was not prepared. I will pray that it comes back next year.

 Lord I pray for the scoreboard that I know is ours to have. WE will receive the donations needed to make this happen. Our national attention will continue to place us in the nations spotlight for continual support. We will be successful.

 Our focus is on your words and your thoughts. Lord our world is on high alert but we are focused on you. Thank you for your blessings and for your continual support.

 I am encouraged to believe in my 48. Whether its days, months or years. I'm believing something good is going to happen to me. I give praise and glory to God. I love you and will continue to thank God for that love. Be blessed and be a blessing to someone today.

Good Morning Lord. I'm Here again. Thank You Lord for today. God I do ask that you show me your protective hand in my life today. I know I will run into some challenges today  and I will try to do my very best. There are going to be decisions to be made. Accusations made.  I have to get ready for his doctor's appointment. Pray that we can find out something more about this blood in the urine. This has been going on for weeks now. Let me focus on the right thing to do. Keep us safe and confident. These next two weeks will be very busy. Its just the way things are. Thank you Lord for looking out for me. I'm excited that I will be able to walk this week, but I wont be able to next week. Rehearsal Dinner. Then Saturday is the wedding. I can't wait for it to be over. I have to be excited and happy for my little girl but trust me, I am ready for it to be over. Take courage! Be strong! This will soon be over. You are very important to me and I pray that you have a good day today.
