Great Peace

Jeremiah 32:17-18

Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is to hard for you..

Renew our hearts. Restore our lands. Speak peace over our people. I pray for peace within our city. I pray for peace within our hearts. I am humbled by your grace and mercy. I am humbled by the many times I ask for your forgiveness and you forgive. I ask for peace. I pray for damaged relationships in my life to be restored to a level of calm. Prayer is a source of comfort in times of trouble. When so many things are coming at you, it's easy to focus on something unimportant. Prioritize, God, family, career. The world wants to come in and take over but we can't let that happen. Relationships are important. Renew your mind. Reflect on the good that God has done in your life. Remember the good.time to begin my day. I thought about applying for the social services job because teaching is just not for me. But then my flesh came in and I wondered if I could afford it, student loans, mortgage, life. So I sit in this job because of my family. I don't blame them. No excuses, it's me. I made the decision. Where is the middle ground? It's just not there, it's all or nothing. I have to chose one or the other. 

A Sense of Urgency

Romans 7:15

I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do

Dear Lord I cry for intimacy. Have mercy on me Lord. Do not condemn me for the rest of my life. Lord, a physical relationship is very important in life. Being there, together, helps to create a bond. While we are whole within ourselves, no man is an island. Being alone is not good. The people you are around have your happiness in mind when they comfort you. Is there no sense of urgency for us? Is there no wonder and excitement about being together? If there isn't, then maybe intimacy is not desired. Is it just a platonic friendship? I want a whole relationship. Lord, I need a true relationship. Truth be told, there is a real sense of urgency that is present in me for many good reasons. Lord I demand that you bring me out of this struggle. Thanks be to God because you are able. I desire an intimate relationship. Man and woman, husband and wife, two people united by their true love for each other. Not lust, love. 

Lord, help me. Continue to walk with me, whatever the situation, enough of this limbo please. I desire relationship. Thank you God for your blessings. I ask big because I know you hear my prayers and you alone can provide answers for them. You are an awesome God, Great, Mighty and Powerful.

Understanding

Daniel 8

Daniel could see the future. It scared him and confused him.

Pray for understanding. Pray to God to remove the blinders and make known his ways.

Lord I choose to worship you in Spirit and Truth.

I pray for my leaders. I pray for the world that we live in. I pray that personal crises are not overwhelming our frame of mind. Our thoughts and wishes have to be about the nation and the world around us. We cannot isolate ourselves to care only for ourselves. Selfishness is not the character trait that is most appealing to God and to others. People want to believe in the strong, assertive leader. Not the bully with nothing but talk.  My class will be upset because I wasn't there yesterday. I'll explain to them the circumstances and then we can start our day together. They are challenging and young. Their future is important to me. Individually they are wonderful diamonds and stars the sparkle bright. Collectively as a class, they require the patience of a saint and the fortitude of Attila the Hun. We have to encourage ourselves and each other. Hope for a better and brighter future. Come together to do better. We have a responsibility to each other to change the world to a better place. We don't want to just get by, we want to excell at living for God. I pray that we find each other in this lifetime. God bless this relationship and make it stronger and United. Have faith that it is possible. Have a blessed day. Snow Day

Good Morning this is flu season and I think it's trying to over take our school. Staying home to get better. Drink plenty of fluids and try to see doctor early to shorten the symptoms. This is still a wonderful day. God made it and I'm in it. I missed a few days of postings due to my wifi problems but I think it's resolved now. If anything can stop me from communicating with you it will happen. There is a sincere desire to keep us apart. I have to fight for togetherness. Patience, patience, don't let the little things get under your skin. I pray for a strong faith. I pray to love one another as Jesus loved us. When my heart is troubled, I ask God to calm it. I ask for a resolution. I pray for you and the church today. Keep you spirits high. I know you are fine but I just want to encourage you to stay strong, you are a special, loved and needed person. New Hope

Luke 24:44

Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Jesus opened their minds so they could understand. Understanding brings a peace and calm to the environment. The message becomes clear and there are no misunderstandings and misconceptions. 

He told them the Christ would have to suffer and rise from the dead on the third day but they were unable to comprehend something so horrible but still necessary for them to believe. Now they believe. Now their minds are open to understand. Jesus told them to stay until his Father clothed them with power from on high. They stayed. 

Father God open my mind to understand. There is a lot of suffering and despair but you give us hope. Draw me closer to you. Don't let me leave. I will stay for as long as I have to. There is power in your words Lord. You will send what was promised. Thank you Lord for your blessing. I will praise and worship you all the days of my life. Hope beyond all Hope

Trust in God and lean not to your own understanding. When I start reading the bible in the morning, I find all kinds of things that interest me and spark my curiosity but I have to get ready for the day that God has prepared for me. I have faith in God. I trust him and I place my hope in him. I love the lord. I love you. I don't understand everything, but I'm still here trying to understand and move forward. It's not that hard. Why make it so difficult.

We must practice how to love one another

Galatians 6:7-10

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Father God, help us to do good. Lord we need your Spirit to guide us towards you. I believe that the violence is because of the fact that being good and acting good has not been taught or shown to have any significance in their lives. There will always be trouble, but to have youth, with their future already taken away from them, what can they hope for, their hope is lost. I read in Time magazine that in the past thirty years, the wealth has risen for older adults and deteriorated for young adults. If that's the case for whites, black and brown have it even worse. There is nothing out there for them anymore. We must worship in Spirit and Truth.

True worshippers can create an atmosphere for God to come in and be involved. Worship is grounded in love. Ÿou taught me that. Love is very fragile. Don't abandon love so easily. Don't let your love fade away. Keep your love alive. Never expect a harvest you haven't sown into. Do the things necessary to not divorce people in your life. Value your relationship. Love is Strong.

How do we respond?

Lord show me where my inner life is in crisis and help me to calm the storm. I rèpent of my sins and ask for your guidance. When crisis comes into my life, how I react is a reflection of my relationship with you Lord. I don't want to just serve God outwardly rather than from the heart. I find that all of my bible readings in the morning are of disasters and death. There is no way around it. Even a beautiful rose has thorns. Instead of quietly enduring but not learning I want to be purified, strengthen, and deepen my relationship. Becoming bitter and hardened helps no one. How we handle our crisis helps us overcome the disaster. There is healing in the word. Moving forward today is not just enduring and making it through. I want to be reminded to be strong. Encourage myself to not just endure but to become new through the experience. I may be broken, but I am not out. I can still heal. I'm not a lost cause. How I see myself is important in order for me to continue the fight. Because God loves me, I continue my fight. Outwardly and from the heart is a true relationship with legs to stand on. I have to get ready for today. Be blessed and be a blessing to someone special. I love you.

Strength

Psalm 38:16-22 

For I said, “Do not let them gloat or exalt themselves over me when my feet slip.”

God, I pray for your constant rescuing. I am willing to acknowledge that God alone is my Lord and Savior. God disciplines me, rebukes me and loves me. I take each day as it comes. I am asking God's forgiveness for my sins. Fòrgive my for my wrongdoings. Place in my mind and heart the peace that surpasses all other peace. I take responsibility for my mistakes. I'm not perfect. I'm human. I thank you for your blessings daily. Even when it doesn't look like a blessing, I thank you anyway. Thank you Lord for today. Be blessed today and be a blessing to someone. I love you. Preparing for the Day

1 Corinthians 13:1-8 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 

God I can't stop thanking you. I am your servant and you are my God. I prepare for your return. Forgive me for my sins and help me to walk in your ways. Together, we make a way for our people. Love is important. It always protects and always trust. Find Forgiveness in your heart to love again. Trust in love. There is a way and we can make it possible. Thank you Lord. Mercy

The Lord is good and his mercy shall endure forever. I bless the Lord at all times. Thank You Lord.

My car was found and it was basically in good condition. The Chicago police is the best in the world to me right now. Thank you Lord. My prayers have been answered. Praise  the  Lord. Glory to God. Glory to God. Some guy bought it from somebody named "Bird" for $875 and a bag of weed. The car is filthy inside, smells like smoke but it's basically ok. Thank You God. My prayers and everyone else's prayers were heard. I got the call at 2:30 this morning and it's 4:45 and I'm back home with my car in the garage. Praise God. Thank you Jesus. I'm just so excited to have my car back. It felt like such a violation to have it stolen. Now my baby is back. They tore off the gas door because they couldn't figure out how to open it but other than that no physical damage.what a blessing. What a relief off of my mind. I haven't slept well. Thank you Jesus. Thank you for your mercy .

Forgiveness

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:43-45 MEV

Dear Lord, I have to move forward. I pray that the police will have success in finding my car. I don't know the person or persons so hate can not be in me for them. I despise the need to take others property. Human nature is a sin nature. We all fall short. None of us are without sin. Lord it is not for me to judge them.i thank God for the ability to have insurance. The fact that I now have a rental. I thank God there was no bodily harm to anyone. God send your Holy Spirit to comfort, guide and direct. I don't want to keep doing wrong. Was there something I could have done to avoid that? It kept me from church because of the running around and getting a rental, returning the cab, that was too much for the mind to process. I haven't cried over it yet. I'm sure it will happen when I least expect it. Life goes on, rejoice in the fact that God is with me and he does love me. Thank you Jesus for rescuing me. I. Love you. Have a blessed day.

Violated

My car is stolen! My brother borrows my car to drive to work and my car gets stolen. The devil is a liar. 

Praise Him

Today is a day of professional development. A day meant to enhance our skills. We had a meeting yesterday of what we are all doing wrong and now a day of what we are doing wrong. Enhance my skills, give me assistance to do better, show me growth in my field. Show me how to be better. Be a practical teacher to teachers. We all want to do better, berating us is not the way to do it.encourage and inspire us. Give us the tools to do better. See, now there is apprehension. As adults we can understand critics. I know you have complaints. Too many critics. Everyone with an opinion about what you should do. How do we respond to rejection and objection? Jesus is a teacher and he taught many people.
