Storing Up Trust

Psalm 56:3-4

The Message (MSG)

A David Psalm, When He Was Captured by the Philistines in Gath

56 1-4 Take my side, God—I’m getting kicked around,
    stomped on every day.
Not a day goes by
    but somebody beats me up;
They make it their duty
    to beat me up.
When I get really afraid
    I come to you in trust.
I’m proud to praise God;
    fearless now, I trust in God.

What can mere mortals do?

Psalm 56:3-4

New International Version (NIV)
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
    In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
    What can mere mortals do to me?

Good Morning Lord. Here we are again. I am placing my trust in you today. Yesterday was terrible. Found out a student posted profanity on my educational edmodo account. Now its down to investigation. That was devastating. How dare they do something so despicable. Probably thought it was so funny to say that to another student. But I am not going to let that get me down. I will practice trusting you Lord, today and tomorrow and the next day and the next day. Thank you Lord for giving me something to trust in. I love you.
