Faith and Hope

Romans 4:16-25

New International Version (NIV)
16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. 17 As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.”[a] He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
18 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”[b] 19 Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. 20 Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, 21 being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. 22 This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” 23 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, 24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

  2. Romans 4:18 Gen. 15:5

Father God when we feel our situation is hopeless, you want us to continue to have hope. Sometimes our situation appears to us as if it is beyond hope. We feel we have to settle for what is presented before us, but faith in God's promise keeps us rooted in hope.

We hope for a better tomorrow. A brighter future. Awakening each day with the thought that, today will be different because I will believe there is hope for my situation.

We can face insurmountable obstacles that seem to force us into despair and depression but God says to our spirit, have hope. Keep hoping. Keep believing. We all face hopeless situations.

We all fall short of being the constant cheerful believer. But God says even in those times, keep the faith. Believe that I am working it out for your good. Our faith is restored when we are able to believe there is hope for us.

There's hope for you still, in whatever obstacle you face today, there is hope. Know that God wants you to have hope. Be reassured with that knowledge, God wants you to believe and hope.

God wants to reassure you that justice is still working it out. Glory to God. Whatever the situation is, show God that you have faith and hope in that situation. Win God over with your loyalty to him. God loves us. Let's love him back. I believe in love. Love conqueors all. Let's show some faith and love today. Be Blessed and be a blessing to someone. I love you.
