Appreciating Difficult Days

Daniel 2:19-23

New International Version (NIV)
19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20 and said:
“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;
    wisdom and power are his.
21 He changes times and seasons;
    he deposes kings and raises up others.
He gives wisdom to the wise
    and knowledge to the discerning.
22 He reveals deep and hidden things;
    he knows what lies in darkness,
    and light dwells with him.
23 I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors:
    You have given me wisdom and power,
you have made known to me what we asked of you,
    you have made known to us the dream of the king.

Thank You Lord for today. I thank you for your grace and your mercy. I pray for today to be a less challenging day. I want to meet the challenges that come my way with the knowledge that together we can handle anything. I am praying for my character to be remade in God's image.  I want to be more effective and organized. I will place borders around the areas of learning. Not on their thinking or learning but their behavior. Always a struggle to walk the delicate path. I wish I could be there for the grandparents day celebration. Its just too much going on at school right now for me to take it off. I will have to make it up to him. Lord I am frustrated. I woke up two hours before my alarm went off and couldn't return to sleep. I don't want to be tired all day. Give me some insight into this day. Let some of the technology work, let the lab door be open, let the instruction be a smooth transition. Let there be some positive, uplifting something for me today Lord. Let something good happen to me today. Walk me through what I need. There will be no tears today. I love you.
