Stand Firm in the Lord

Take a moment to think about the people you care about the most. What is your greatest desire for these people? My greatest desire is for them to stand firm in the Lord. I am aware that we have problems that arise which can weaken our faith but the goal and hearts desire is to stand firm in the Lord. In order for us to stand firm we must end disagreements. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Fill your thoughts with good thoughts. Think about where you were in your faith a year ago? Are you closer to God or are you further away?  Have you let the worries of today rob you of your joy in the Lord? Are you working towards being joyful, peaceful and anxiety free? Don't let improper thoughts rob me of my joy in the Lord. Allow pure, noble, right, true, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy thoughts help to cleanse our minds and restore our tranquility in the Lord. The Spirit of the Living God is with us as we practice what we learn about peace and joy and love. We must put into practice what we have learned in order to identify the thoughts that are robbing us of our Peace in God. Show me the thoughts and attitudes that are robbing me of my peace and joy and are weakening my faith in God's Promise in my Life.
Philippians 4:1-9

Philippians 4

 1Therefore, my brothers, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!
Exhortations
 2I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to agree with each other in the Lord. 3Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow,[a] help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow
workers, whose names are in the book of life.  4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
 8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
