How Do We Deal With Loss and Need

Jeremiah 52

Psalm 36:10-12
Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart. May the foot of the proud not come against me. Nor the hand of the wicked drive me away. See how the evildoers lie fallen-thrown down , not able to rise.

Thank you Lord for today. I am blessed that you woke me up today. I give my all to you Lord. Thank you for today. I have another chance to make a difference in this world. I have another chance to do your will. Lord I ask what my purpose is and I am still wondering if that is really a priority. Love is so important in our lives. Our need for love can be embarrassing but necessary. Infants cannot survive without someone loving them enough to care for their basic needs, and love is one of them. A basic need. When  I acknowledge that I need love, I feel incomplete, but the truth is, God is Love and I need God everyday. The need for love is basic and true and pure. It is good to be true to God. Good to know that love is needed in our lives. We remember times when we felt true love. When we smiled, and felted warm and tingly inside. We have to receive love as much as we desire to give love. Each and every day is a chance for love. Yesterday's love will not suffice for today. We are always renewing our supply and demand for love. We love the Lord and daily we seek the relationship that will replenish our supply. Let me love you and let me receive your love. Sounds so simple. I ask God to redirect my thoughts so that I am more open to love. Soften my heart  and mind to receiving love. I ask God to remind me to believe that love is here. Love is so faithfully following me daily that I can not even notice its there. Remember how to love. Remember the hankie, that was my attempt at getting your attention. I remember writing how excited I was to be on my way to see you. Loving every minute, every second that I was in your presence. Having date night, every Friday. How you spent an extremely hot day watering love for the community because I was not going to be there on Friday. Love has never left us. We have to remind ourselves that we are a product of love and we need to replenish our supply of love for each other. Fall in love again. Be happy. Know that love is basic and necessary. Love me today because I will love. you.
