Good Morning Lord

 

2 Corinthians 8:10-12

New International Version (NIV)

¹⁰ And here is my judgment about what is best for you in this matter. Last year you were the first not only to give but also to have the desire to do so. ¹¹ Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. ¹² For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

Thank You Lord for another day. I am dependent on you. Together we can make a difference in this world. My motivation is to please you Lord. In your presence I am whole. I am honored to be here. To be a part of any journey that includes God's plans and wishes is a joy. I pray that I can do what is necessary. Lord, when I am confused, you comfort me. Let me remember that I must give of myself. Give in order to receive. The need to give is very strong. Give until its uncomfortable. Know that God wants us to give in order to about help others as we help ourselves. We feel better when we have given for others. Let our giving become a part of our routine. Give daily. Its not about me, its about others in need. Encourage me. Counsel me. Give me your love. God loves me. God cares for me. Can we care for each other? Be blessed today and be a blessing to someone, know that you are loved.

Thank You Lord for all you have done in my life. Thank you for waking me up another day. You have given me your love, your grace and your mercy. Thank You.
1 Corinthians 2:3
I came to you in weakness and fear and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.

Father God thank you for my spiritual gifts. You have shown me what is important to you. Guide me to a deeper relationship with you. Keep me close, keep me in your arms. My desire is to develop a closer, more intimate relationship. Let's take it to the next level Lord. Talk to me, communicate with me. Let me know you are listening Lord. Draw me near to you Lord. Glory to you Oh Lord.

Father God I shall bless your name at all times. My faith in you has not wavered even when I was not doing what I was suppose to do. My sometimes doing the right thing has continued to lead to my sometimes receiving your loving kindness, grace and mercy. Your love is everlasting and I know I can call on you always. Whether you save me or not, I know you are there.

Lord its a special day today for a special man. He is the sparkle in my eye. Bless him today and allow him to receive the genuine good and loving wishes for a good day and more. We love him Lord. You have sent an angel to us. He doesn't have to be here. He could have easily walked away, but he didn't. He could have turned his back many times, but he didn't. He believes in your word and your power. His faith is strong. He is a man and needs encouragement. Allow him to b e encouraged today. Happy Birthday to you. You are special, let people show some love to you today. Be encouraged and know that you are loved so very much.

Sincere Truth

Thank You Father God for another day. you have given me another chance to do your will. I praise you Lord. I am hoping that I can be a peacemaker. My will is to be submissive to you. My desire is to listen to your directions and to go where you want me to go. I will follow you. I am aware of the cost of loyalty. My devotion to you has never stopped. You are my heart's desire. When I don't feel you are near, I have to trust that you are. I trust you Lord to be near to me. To allow me to follow you like sheep. Keep me close and know that I am yours. I will not stray nor walk away. I love you.

Good Morning Lord. Thank you for another day. I am blessed that I am still here to continue working for your goal. We are united in love. I will keep the faith that there is more to come. I have high expectations. Glory to God. This is not the end, only a new beginning. I will have faith in God. The trials and tribulations are always going to be there, but together, we can overcome them. Think positive, walk with faith, continue to create the atmosphere of expectation,  and it will happen. The Holy Spirit give me comfort to know that I am not alone in this struggle. Time to get ready for my day with these challenging kids. Then its off to the dentist. Happy Monday. This is a special week for someone. Something special is happening for you. God has given you another year. Praise God and Thank You. Have an absolutely blessed day today. I love you.

Expectation

Create an atmosphere of expectation. Believe that there is more than what we see. There's hope for us.   This year will continue to be a spectacular year. I believe we are in for a new beginning. Are we about to give birth to a new beginning? God loves us so much. We are destined to do God's work. Together, we will make a difference. I love you so much. Its amazing how when love is flowing, everything is good. It feels good. I know the best is yet to come. God has not kept us for nothing. Get ready. Get drunk with joy.

Common Enemy

Mark 12:29-31

²⁹ “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.^{[a] 30} Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’^{[b] 31} The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’^[c] There is no commandment greater than these.”

Thank You for today Lord. We are grieved about the killing in our neighborhood. A common enemy can often draw together people who otherwise might never be united together. When motives are behind specific acts, ignorance of the motives and intentions of others seem unimportant. People will do more when the outcome is  expected to achieve more. Our hopes and dreams for a safer community are not for nothing. It has and will  be our continual reality.  We can unite rather than divide. We can answer the hard questions and ask the ones that need to be asked. When the enemy comes together with their enemy, guard yourself. All is not lost. The enemy of our enemy becomes our ally. Together defeat is imminent.

Mark 12:24
²⁴ Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God?


Mark 12:1-24 is important too.


 People will constantly try to trip you up. They are dead set on keep the status quo. Don't change or challenge my authority is how they feel.  Remember that if we want to reach them we have to teach them. We can't teach them if we can't reach them. Always make a stand for what is right, and pure and what is the truth. Truth can be subjective. Depending on which side of the fence your are standing on. People are so dead set on their way and have truly been brainwashed to believe that they are right. I watched Guess Who's Coming to Dinner last night, just the last hour of it, but it still has a message today. Just as many black people as white people are against uniting and having peace. We have to reach our own people to change their mindset. They think its been done like this for so many years, there is not any other way that it should or can be done. When you are successful at something that others feel cannot be achieved, their is anger and resentment. Not everyone is rooting for peace and quiet in the streets. God has blessed you to continue his work. Opposition is evident. I pray for you to have strength to never give up the fight. You are loved so much and need to the point that its overwhelming. Strengthen your heart and know that you can do all things through Christ Jesus. Fight the good fight of faith. I love you. Show Some Love

Luke 5:5-11
Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
⁶ When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. ⁷ So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.
⁸ When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’ knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!” ⁹ For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, ¹⁰ and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon’s partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid; from now on you will fish for people.” ¹¹ So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.


Good Morning Lord. Thank you for waking me up this morning. My God is full of surprises. I went to bed trusting the Lord would wake me in the morning, and it happened. I can truly trust in the Lord. My happiness and my security is in the Lord. My Love, My Love, you need me to show some love. Show how much I care for you. How much I miss you. Why my days are filled with you on my mind and in my heart. I have to contain myself so that I don't spend the whole day just thinking of ways to please you. My desire is to please you. To have you smile at me and talk to me. To have you want me as much as I want you. For us to be together. That is my heart's desire and since I am here to be truthful and transparent, I will. Rejection is always a fear. Rejection happens when you least expect it. God is a good God and knows exactly what I need. I have to believe the Lord will provide. Just as he provides for the birds, he will provide for me. I will trust the Lord to always love again. Love what the Lord has done, can do, and will do. My future is in the Lord's hands. God will bless what he wants to bless. I am a disciple of our Lord. I will show my love. Be blessed today and be a blessing to someone. I love you.

What God Requires

Thank You Lord for another day. Your loving kindness towards me has refreshed my soul. Lord I desire  to show my faithfulness towards you. I am blessed to be here today.
Father God, you desire me to act justly, to treat others and myself fairly. You are the only judge. My Lord I will love mercy. I will walk humbly in what I do. I am your servant. How long will you be angry with me? What do you require of me? I pray that the Holy Spirit will show me the way. I am in need of guidance. My anger has to stop. Life goes on no matter what I want to happen. Each day is a new day to carry out God's desire. Have a blessed day and be a blessing to someone. Show your faithfulness. Be encouraged. Letday. Father God, thank you for today. You have given me another chance to get it right. I will serve the Lord. I will hope in the Lord. I will keep my confidence in the Lord. Thank you for all that you do. Because of you Lord I am healed. My thoughts and prayers are continually with you and on your way. Let me be an influencer today. Keep me on the straight path to you Lord.

A New Beginning

Good Morning Lord. Thank You for today. I have another chance to follow God. I pray that my walk today will be fruitful. Lord I am willing and able to do your will.
Matthew 4 shows me how to prepare for my walk. Fasting and prayer. I will be tempted. I must know how to arm my self against my tempters. The word of the Lord. Keep God's word in my thoughts and in my mouth. Choose to leave behind all that is not of God. When I am called to come, I must come. Some opportunities are only offered once. Leave family and work to work for the Lord. Discipleship cost. When we make the decision to follow Christ, we are becoming  new. I love the ability to relate to God in my own way. Lord push me further so that I am closer to you. Thank you for your love and faithfulness. I reach out to you Lord through this journal so that my true thoughts and feelings are released for me to communicate. Thank you for all of your blessings on my family and my community. I love you Lord and would not want to be without you. Thank you so much for just being there. Walk with me today. I need you.

A Clear Understanding

My God, please grant me a clearer understanding of your will. You have given me mercy and grace many times. I am dependent on you Lord. I can do nothing without you Lord. I am blind to your thoughts and your desires. I am confused about your will. Make it plain to me Lord. Show me the truth in every situation. Show me your truth and your will. Help me to understand that will. Your desire is what I seek. In my daily walk today, help me to be concerned only for today. I will forget the past.  Not worry about the future. I will renew my faith in today. The Lord is my shepherd and I shall not want for anything. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Thank You Lord for today. Thank you for all of your blessings and mercy. Lord, lead me where you want me to go today. I will listen for your words and follow your will today Lord. Lord I pray that you will stay with me forever. You are my rock and my desire. I don't want to go without you in my life. Help me to see you clearer in my life Lord. ...Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don't you remember?...

You Are Amazing

Lord, you are amazing. Church was so wonderful with the youth handling and succeeding in all of the components of our mass. We were blessed to be able to enjoy their performance. I am so proud of young people when they are productive and cooperative. The youth leaders did a great job.
Lord, today I am adjusting to a new school. I have been here a week and it looks like I will be here until the end of the school year. That's good and bad. Good that I don't have to reintroduce myself to another set of students and staff. Bad that this is a closing school with some emotionally damaged students. West Side. We have alerts daily about safety. Shootings are common. Why should students have to be so angry and defiant. This is fifth grade! They need counseling and lots of it. I hope the welcoming school has the capability to handle their social emotional problems as well as their academic needs. Lord I know that you will keep me safe and dispatch your angels of protection.
The restoration from the flood is continuing. Cleaning out the garage to replace the sump pump is a chore. Thank God all I have to do is clean the garage. That is a chore in itself. My allergies are acting up and I need a mask. I knew I would need one. I'll have to get one. We have to fix some problem areas around the house. I pray that it won't be too expensive. I am thinking positive and getting estimates.
You have been very busy. Please use your wisdom to take care of yourself. You are important to me. Be blessed and have a blessed evening.

My First Love

Glory to you oh God. Glory to your mighty Name. Thank you for waking me up this morning. I am blessed and highly favored. If you never do another thing for me you are worthy to be praised.

 I am blessed to have you in my life. I refuse to think it is over for me as long as you are waking me up. My purpose is not fulfilled. My destiny has not happened. I have more to do.

 Lord you will have to strengthen me because of the obstacles in my life. Strengthen me to see the joy that is there. Keep me focused on the right choice for you Lord. I want to know your word Lord.

Your will in my life. I have some why questions, but I will attempt to accomplish your will Lord. Keep me safe. Keep me close to you Lord. Remind me of my first love, which is you Lord.

Pride does goeth before the fall and I am trying to be humble to you Lord. I cannot serve two masters so I chose you Lord. I can point fingers, blame others, but I will try to take my part in the problem seriously. I pray that I will be a beacon of light for someone.

 My desire is to please you Lord. I cannot serve two masters and will always strive to do your will Lord.

 Now you have place this obstinate, pig headed, pompous person in my path in a role that involves both my church and professional life. I will not bow down to his micro management of me.

Lord I am here for you, not him. Your will is my desire. I refuse to be manipulated by someone who obviously is in love with the title of chairman. If I am to stand for the women of the community and to allow a female voice to be heard through the din of like males like him then so be it. Father God walk with me today and everyday. Bless me and keep me close. I love you and pray for you.

Restoration

For the Lord Most High is awesome,

    the pride of Jacob, whom he loved.

Good Morning Lord. I am thankful for another day to worship and praise you. My hope is to please you each and every day that I am on this Earth. I pray an impossible request. I know that I have to call on God to get me through this day and evening. Lord, I wonder why you put me in the situations that you do. So I ask you to rebuild, restore and reinforce me. Today will be challenging, and I will get through it. Lord help us to chose wisely to repair the damage of the flood waters. Help us to make wise choices. Lord guide our path. Keep us strong and humble. Show our strength and our love.
