Controversialist

Good Morning Lord. Thank you for waking me up today. Pictue Day. Thank you Lord for placing people around me who like to stir the pot. Whether its the people they work with or the ones they are around socially, folks wonder what to do with them and what to do without them. Those that are arguing are happiest when they have controversy and just half alive when the atmosphere is congenial. It's not ego that takes presedence, it's because they love the truth and hate lies. Taking a stand against the established lies that are being held up as truths requires a controversialist. Going against the grain to speak the truth and to take a stand for justice. Critics will say we are working against the very thing we came to heal. Lord search my heart and mind. Know that I stand with you and I pray that you give me the help I need to take a stand when necessary. I am pleased for the congregation and ask nothing for myself individually. I love the Lord and pray that I can be a servant to God. I don't have the words needed to convey my joy in God's will. I pray thay I will be able to fully understand my role, but even without understanding, I will do what is asked of me. I love the Lord and will try with all my might and power to worship and obey Him. I will walk with Him and not against Him. Psalm 97:10 10 Let those who love the LORD hate evil,    for he guards the lives of his faithful ones    and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Luke 11:17-23   17 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. 18 If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand? I say this because you claim that I drive out demons by Beelzebul. 19 Now if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22 But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the armor in which the man trusted and divides up his plunder.    23 “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
