I am looking for this short story where Douglass talks about the difference between loading/unloading a ship at the dock in New England and the Southern Slave States.The quiet. I dont know if I like everything about him but he understood their way of thinking during that time of turmoil or should I say tragedy. He built a bridge to Lincoln. Now we can look at everything he fought for to bring the masses from the classes. But...
