Think it But Don't Speak it

God I thank you for today. You have blessed me with another day. I will not let the negative come out of my mouth. I will not say what I can't do. I will listen to God's promise. I have to keep my guard up on the negative. I know God has my healing, my restoration, and I know that just because I don't see anything happening, doesn't mean that God is not working it out. Don't speak the negative words to delay my blessing.

Speak faith in my blessing. Be positive in what I am asking God to do in my life. I will not speak negative over my life, my family, my church, or my schools. I will speak positive words over all that is in my life. I will use my words to speak victory and not defeat over my life. I must be careful to allow the positive to come out of my mouth. I will live and not die.

God is restoring health back into me. Negative thoughts will not be given life in my mind. I will not speak the negative. I will speak what I want to come into my life. Ther is power in the word. I will speak favor in my life. What ever I touch will succeed. If God be for me, then who can be against me. I can do all things through Christ. I am blessed and highly favored.

I am a beautiful, exciting and inviting woman that any mature, handsome thoughtful, exciting man would want. I have a wonderful job waiting for me that is just right for me. My health is getting better everyday. I am losing weight and my allergies are under control.  My life is good. I cannot complain and talk myself out of my blessing. I will not speak defeat and negativity.

My life is too important. God has a plan for me and I need to position myself where God wants me. I need to listen to God's influence in my life. Listen more, speak less. Take the words to heart and know that I have power in the word. Believe that God is in everything in my life. Stop talking defeat and lack. I will refuse to prophesize  defeat over my life.

I am not too old for law school. I have faith in God. I will keep dreaming as long as I am here on this earth, I will dream something more for myself than what is in the natural. I could be defeated and depressed, but I refuse to constantly speak defeat in my life. If I cannot be positive and faithful about my life, then how can I expect others to speak positive influences in my life.

I don't want negative energy in my life. I will speak positive words over my life. God is my redeemer and my Savior, Jesus Christ says that I am saved. All is Well. All is Well.

Acts 9:10-16
10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”
“Yes, Lord,” he answered.

11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

Restoration

God show me your glory. Heal my heart. Maybe I will never quite fit into this world, but maybe that's alright too. I'm different. God has a purpose for me and I know that I am needed. God is in my heart and mind and spirit. I have never given up on my God. I believe the Lord has challenged me to take a serious leap at love again. If I am to walk by faith and not by sight then my faith must be bolstered, encouraged and solidified. God knows I'm jealous and needy, and imperfect, so my man will have to be overly attentive. Its not fair, but that's just the way it is. I'm not an accident, I am here at this time, in this place for a reason. Cleanse my heart Lord.Soften my heart and allow me to take that leap of faith in love. I pray for my desire as Hannah prayed for a child. As the women of the bible have to pray intensely for what they want. Heal me Lord. Hear my prayers. I ask for a husband, I ask for a job better suited for me, and continued focus on my health. Help me to do the right thing Lord. Keep me close. Show me your Glory Lord.

Mark 7

English Standard Version (ESV)

Traditions and Commandments

7 Now when the Pharisees gathered to him, with some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem, 2 they saw that some of his disciples ate with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. 3 (For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands properly,[a] holding to the tradition of the elders, 4 and when they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash.[b] And there are many other traditions that they observe, such as the washing of cups and pots and copper vessels and dining couches.[c]) 5 And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled hands?” 6 And he said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written,
“‘This people honors me with their lips,
but their heart is far from me;
7 in vain do they worship me,
teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 You leave the commandment of God and hold to the tradition of men.”

God's Promise

Jeremiah 32:26-27

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
26 Then a message came to me from the Lord. He said, 27 “I am the Lord. I am the God of all people. Is anything too hard for me?”

Jeremiah 33:1-5

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)

The Lord Keeps His Promises

33 I was still being held as a prisoner. I was kept in the courtyard of the guard. Then another message came to me from the Lord. He said, 2 “I made the earth. I formed it. And I set it in place. The Lord is my name. 3 Call out to me. I will answer you. I will tell you great things you do not know. You will not be able to understand them.”
4 The Lord is the God of Israel. He speaks about the houses in Jerusalem. He talks about the royal palaces of Judah. The people had torn many of them down. They had used their stones to strengthen the city walls against attack. 5 That was during their fight with the armies of Babylonia. The Lord says, “The houses will be filled with dead bodies. They will be the bodies of the men I will kill when my anger burns against them. I will hide my face from this city. That is because its people have committed so many sins.

Father God I call out to you in my distress. Lord you are my shelter and my redeemer. You are faithful and you have saved me again. I will not fret over the things of my life. I see today that you have given me hope. My love for you is everlasting. Even when things look dark and depressing you give me encouragement and hope. Lord I place my trust in you. You hear my prayers and with a discerning spirit you allow me to go through the difficulty with you by my side, in my heart and my spirit. Your love is everlasting. You are my love. I pray for my three desires daily Lord. I know you are preparing my husband for me. My job is waiting for me and my health is improving every single day. Thank you God for your blessings. God Promised restoration. I believe it will happen.

"...I give thanks to the Lord Almighty for the Lord is good and his love endures forever. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were before, says the Lord." Jeremiah 33:11

Godly Sorrow

2 Corinthians 7:8-16

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
8 Even if my letter made you sad, I’m not sorry I sent it. At first I was sorry. I see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while. 9 Now I am happy. I’m not happy because you were made sad. I’m happy because your sadness led you to turn away from your sins. You became sad just as God wanted you to. So you were not hurt in any way by us.
10 Godly sadness causes us to turn away from our sins and be saved. And we are certainly not sorry about that! But worldly sadness brings death.
11 Look at what that godly sadness has produced in you. You are working hard to clear yourselves. You are angry and alarmed. You are longing to see me. You are concerned. You are ready to make sure that the right thing is done. In every way you have proved that you are not guilty in that matter.
12 So even though I wrote to you, it wasn’t because of the one who did the wrong. It wasn’t because of the one who was hurt. Instead, I wrote you so that in the sight of God you could see for yourselves how faithful you are to us. 13 All of that cheers us up.
We were also very glad to see how happy Titus was. You have all renewed his spirit. 14 I had bragged about you to him. And you have not let me down. Everything we said to you was true. In the same way, our bragging about you to Titus has also turned out to be true. 15 His love for you is even greater when he remembers that you all obeyed his teaching. You received him with fear and trembling. 16 I am glad I can have complete faith in you.

Lord Almighty, I pray to you today for many things. I am a sinner and I confess my sins to you Lord. I pray that  I am able to see where sin is in my life. I want you to reveal to me Lord where I am covering up sin and scandal and allow me the strength to call it what it is, sin. Lord do not let me cover up the problem. I pray that I am not unevenly yoked. Let me call sin, sin and not commit to worldly views of the situation. I praise God for what I can learn from the situation. Lord, your word says ask for what you desire. I ask you Lord, in 2013, for three things. I pray for a husband. Do not allow my heart to fall for an unbeliever. I do not want to be unevenly yoked. I pray for a new job that is better suited for my temperment and personality. I do not want to be in anything that does not give me the opportunity to glorify the Lord. Finally, Lord, my health. Keep me focused on taking care of myself, spiritually, mentally and physically. Let me remember that my body is a temple of God and to treat it accordingly. Love myself so that I can love others. I pray that I can be a beacon of light for the Lord. I give glory to God in all that I do and all that I say. My heart is for the Lord. I love the Lord and I am working towards my salvation. One day we will all have our judgment day and I pray that God will say, well done my child, well done.

Be Careful

Be careful how you build a nation. Never forget who you are. Never forget whose you are.  Think of a time when someone who really cared for you realized that there was jealousy and quarreling among you. Think about how worldy we still are. We talk fighting men but when the time comes, we do not commit.

Romans 14

Romans 14

New International Version (NIV)

The Weak and the Strong

14 Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. 2 One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. 3 The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
5 One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. 6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[b]
12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. 20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. 21 It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.
22 So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves. 23 But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin.[c]

I Love You Lord

Romans 13:5-10

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
5 You must obey the authorities. Then you will not be punished. You must also obey them because you know it is right.
6 That’s also why you pay taxes. The authorities serve God. Ruling takes up all their time. 7 Give to everyone what you owe. Do you owe taxes? Then pay them. Do you owe anything else to the government? Then pay it. Do you owe respect? Then give it. Do you owe honor? Then show it.

Love, Because the Day Is Near

8 Pay everything you owe. But you can never pay back all the love you owe each other. Those who love others have done everything the law requires. 9 Here are some commandments to think about. “Do not commit adultery.” “Do not commit murder.” “Do not steal.” “Do not want what belongs to others.” (Exodus 20:13–15,17; Deuteronomy 5:17–19,21) These and other commandments are all included in one rule. Here’s what it is. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” (Leviticus 19:18) 10 Love does not harm its neighbor. So love does everything the law requires.

Romans 14:13-18

New International Version (NIV)

Glory Be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Thank You God for your love today. I will walk in faith with your words written on my heart. I will try not to judge. I am fully convinced that your love will allow me to succeed in doing your will. I love you Lord. Walk with me today.

Staying In The Race

Hebrews 10:19-25

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)

A Warning to Remain Faithful

19 Brothers and sisters, we are not afraid to enter the Most Holy Room. We enter boldly because of the blood of Jesus. 20 His way is new because he lives. It has been opened for us through the curtain. I’m talking about his body.
21 We also have a great priest over the house of God. 22 So let us come near to God with an honest and true heart. Let us come near with a faith that is sure and strong. Our hearts have been sprinkled. Our minds have been cleansed from a sense of guilt. Our bodies have been washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold firmly to the hope we claim to have. The One who promised is faithful.
24 Let us consider how we can stir up one another to love. Let us help one another to do good works. 25 Let us not give up meeting together. Some are in the habit of doing this. Instead, let us cheer each other up with words of hope. Let us do it all the more as you see the day coming when Christ will return.

Hebrews 10:35-39

New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
35 So don’t throw away your bold faith. It will bring you rich rewards. 36 You need to be faithful. Then you will do what God wants. You will receive what he has promised. 37 In just a very little while,
“The one who is coming will come. He will not wait.
38 The one who is in the right will live by faith.
If he pulls back,
I will not be pleased with him.” (Habakkuk 2:3,4)
39 But we aren’t people who pull back and are destroyed. We are people who believe and are saved.

All praise and glory to God. Father God, thank You for your blessings. Thank your for your constant pursuit of my attention. Lord, I am yours. I am your woman. A woman of God. As you have given women feelings and emotions, and have set us apart from men. We are equal, yet different. Our needs are different. Our desires are different. Sometimes our needs and desires are the same. Its like a pendulum. It swings back and forth from one side to the other, needing to rest calmly in the middle. Lord, Keep us safe. Keep our lives moving in the right direction. When we don't hear your voice, stay with us. When we do hear your voice, guide us with words and deeds that we can recognize are you Lord. Remind us we are human and desire love, and the touch of another human being. Remind us how a relationship is important.  We are not here to do deeds alone, but to interact, man to woman, on the most basic of needs. Instinct. I want to make love. I want to find someone who wants to make love to me. I understand that I have fallen in love with someone who doesn't have that need, and is content to let me go on about my daily life without being together. I want God to place in my life someone who wants me. Someone who loves me and wants to make love to me. I need that. I need to be loved. Alturistic, platonic, spiritual love is fine. But God, you made me a flesh and blood woman, so I need a flesh and blood man. I want a man who will not let me go so easily. Someone who truly wants to be with me and will make it happen because he loves me. Not one day, some day, some how, but today, now. Thank you Lord for your loving kindness. My heart is lighter now.
