It ain't over until God says it's Over

All of God's people experience great spiritual privilege. We are granted new mercies each and every day.

All of God's people experience great spiritual failures. We hope and pray but sometimes, things do not go our way. We experience great disappointments.

But, through it all, we are reminded that it ain't over until God says it's over. Be humble. Be mindful of others.

Hope

Believe

Pray

It's Christmastime. God grants our wishes.

1 Corinthians 10:1-13

New International Version (NIV)

Warnings From Israel’s History

10 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. 2 They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. 3 They all ate the same spiritual food 4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
6 Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: “The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry.”[a] 8 We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 9 We should not test Christ,[b] as some of them did—and were killed by snakes. 10 And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel.
11 These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come. 12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! 13 No temptation[c] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[d] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[e] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Glory to God

Thank you Lord for your blessings. I am blessed and highly favored. I am a child of God and the Lord love me. Each and every day God will give me some attention, even when I may seem distracted. God is happy to see me and not interested in what is going on elsewhere. Our relationship is so important that the Lord makes a big deal out of making me feel comfortable and loved. When I am in the Lord's presence, the Lord's attention is on me. WE hold conversations that just the two of us know. My love is forever. The Lord says He will never leave me, nor forsake me. I am blessed. I love the Lord. Be blessed today and be a blessing to someone.

    women rule over them.
O my people, your guides lead you astray;
they turn you from the path.

Isaiah 3:12

King James Version (KJV)
12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Date Night

Here it it is Friday.  A Friday when I could come home and find his mother here. My  grandson needing to go to dance hip hop and me needing to get him ready for tomorrow. But no, tonight, tonight is a special night.

A night when his mother is here and ready to take on the responsibility of keeping her son occupied so that I can have a corherent and  thught productive day on a Friday evening.

Glory to God.

Now I think Frazier International wants me, Moy is persistent. I will be there next week, I want them to know that it is my decision not theirs solo.  I do still want to go overseas. I need my own place. Frazier will talk about travel and overnight conferences. I have to get out of this house. I am pissed at you because I am still t home and you have never really made any kind of acknowledgement of me.

Now that the spirit has taken hold of me, I want to satisfy my spirit and mind and physical body.

Exposing our Needs

Galatians 3:15-29

Galatians 3:15-29

New International Version (NIV)

The Law and the Promise

15 Brothers and sisters, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. 16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,”[a] meaning one person, who is Christ. 17 What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. 18 For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.
19 Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. 20 A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.
21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law. 22 But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

Children of God

23 Before the coming of this faith,[b] we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

People have to admit they need help before they can receive it. Yet this is very difficult. Lord, what needs are pressing on me right now? Are my needs really my wants? I know one thing I want and I have not had it. Lord I ask you to help me put aside my pride and expose my needs. Lord help me to put aside my pride. Help me to cherish and acknowledge my needs. Help me to not be so hard on myself.Help me to  believe and trust more. Help me Lord,to give you control over every aspect of my life. I will continue to pray for the promises of God in my life. I love the Lord and will continue to have faith and love and the good Lord knows it.  I need love, I love you, but what's love got to do with it when we are not together?

Ephesians 4:1-16

New International Version (NIV)

Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ

4 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it[a] says:
“When he ascended on high,
    he took many captives
and gave gifts to his people.”[b]
9 (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions[c]? 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11 So Christ himself gavethe apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of Godand become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love,we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
